Services
Related or Separate Products/Services
If you only have a few products or services, then this page may be all you need. However, if you have multiple, then this first services page, might be better used to start categorizing services or products.
Writing About a Product or Service
The title (directly above) is a straightforward “what the product/service is”. This subsection should hold a brief description and you can go into the finer details in the section below. You can also create links leading to pages for even more information on a product/service/topic!
Don’t Forget Your Brand!
When writing a description try to give it a bit of a personal touch. Doesn’t have to be much, just a little something to help your brand stand out. Ex: ‘3 inch red pumps’ is good, but ” 3 inch red pumps: the classic style needed for that formal work party and the comfort needed so you can cut loose on the dance floor!” makes the product much more exciting. Does this block of text seem long? YES! So try to keep it five lines or less!
Tell me more about that product!
Now it’s time to get into the details of your products! The above title should be identical or very similar to the title in the first part of the services page, so visitors know where to look.
The description should focus on five main points when describing a product:
- The primary selling points– Why would a person want this? Cause it is a great product! But why is it great?
- Extras– Are there some extra features that are not obvious? One or two more selling points can make the difference.
- Basic ‘technical’ details– Give them the geeky details so they know exactly what they will get. But just enough to satisfy curiosity.
- Price – Even if there is a price range let them know what it is.
- End with a strong Call to Action – A final push to make a visitor take action.
Tell me more about that service!
Now it’s time to get into the details of your service! The above title should be identical or very similar to the title in the first part of the services page, so visitors know where to look.
You may be tempted to go into a lot of detail here but don’t go too crazy. Most people only want to know the basics. The main focus should be on what you bring to the service and why you are a great choice.
If you don’t know where to start, try the hook, line and sinker approach.
Hook: What problem are visitors facing?
Line: How the service solves that problem?
Sinker: Why is your company is a superior choice for that service?
End it with a Call To Action to motivate visitors into contacting you.
Adding more Products/Services
It’s super easy with Elementor!
A) Right-click the section you wish to duplicate and select duplicate. Bam! There is your new section.
but its not in the right place? No problem.
B) Right-click the section you wish to duplicate and click copy. Go to a widget holder (like the one directly below which says ‘Drag widget here’), right-click and select paste.
You can also add a new widget holder by clicking the “+” button at the top of a section in the little blue box.
Don’t see a widget holder or the “+” in a little blue box? Then you are probably not in Elementor. Select “Edit with Elementor” at the top of a page you wish to modify.
